ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet Auto-CPAP with HumidAir - Card-to-Cloud (C2C) Version

The ResMed AirSense 10 Card-to-Cloud (C2C) AutoSet CPAP is the same whisper-quiet, well-loved AirSense 10 machine without the built-in cellular communication modem. This new AirSense 10 Card-to-Cloud machine includes an SD card to help you track comprehensive data about your sleep apnea therapy. With the new SD card, you’ll be equipped with your sleep apnea data, allowing you to receive therapy support from your doctor and gather compliance reports. The AirSense 10 Card-to-Cloud device is not connected to the Internet and therefore does not automatically upload data to nor interact with the ResMed MyAir App.

ResMed's AutoSet algorithm is proven to provide effective therapy, at the lowest pressure levels, on a breath-by-breath basis throughout the night. The AutoSet algorithm monitors your breathing and, when it detects flow limitations, it gently increases pressure until the event has cleared. After an event, AutoSet decreases pressure again to improve overall sleep comfort. In addition, AirSense 10 AutoSet differentiates between obstructive and central apneas so you'll always be sure you're getting the appropriate therapy for your changing needs.

AirSense 10's whisper-quiet, Easy-Breathe motor makes for a peaceful environment for you and your bed partner. In addition, AirSense 10 AutoSet has an ambient light sensor that adjusts the brightness of the screen based on the amount of light in the room. So if you get up during the night and need to pause your therapy, the screen will stay dim so it doesn't disrupt your partner. The screen's backlight also turns off automatically to help you fall back to sleep without disturbance.

Heated humidification helps patients to sleep better and longer, without dry mouth or discomfort, during APAP therapy. ResMed's HumidAir Humidifier is built directly into the AirSense 10 so it is much smaller and simpler than other "integrated" humidifier options. The AirSense's HumidAir humidifier is easily adjustable from the "My Options" screen on the device. You can turn humidity off completely or choose levels from 1 to 8, where 1 is the lowest humidity setting and 8 is the highest.

The AirSense 10's SmartStart function begins your sleep apnea therapy as soon as you breathe into your mask. When you remove your mask, it stops automatically after a few seconds. Really, what could be more simple!

ResMed's EPR (Expiratory Pressure Relief) feature reduces the work of breathing during exhalation providing a gentler pressure that naturally adapts to your breathing cycle throughout the night. EPR can be turned off entirely or you can choose levels from 1 to 3, where 1 is the minimum pressure relief and 3 is the maximum.

AirSense 10's AutoRamp feature with sleep onset detection helps make therapy comfortable from the moment you turn on your device. AutoRamp works by delivering a low pressure to help you fall asleep with ease. Once it detects you’re asleep, it comfortably increases the pressure to ensure your prescribed level is delivered the moment you need it.

AirSense 10 AutoSet comes with ResMed's ultra-light SlimLine CPAP tubing which is 40% lighter than traditional CPAP tubing. To optimize your HumidAir Humidifier's capabilities upgrade to ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing in your shopping cart.

When you use ClimateLineAir Tubing with the AirSense 10 the system's advanced Climate Control features are activated. Climate Control is an intelligent system that adapts to changes in room temperature, pressure flow, and mask and mouth leak, to provide constant, comfortable temperatures and humidity levels during sleep therapy. With Climate Control and ClimateLineAir Tubing, your machine will maintain a set temperature and relative humidity at the mask while you sleep while minimizing condensation and rainout.

AirSense 10 AutoSet's onboard "Sleep Report" is a valuable tool to let you know how your therapy is progressing each day. In the Sleep Report, you can view usage hours, mask seal indicators, humidification indicators, events per hour of use, average usage hours, leak rate, and AHI.

Like your own sleep coach, ResMed's new optional online program, myAir, provides support during every stage of treatment. By giving you access to your therapy data, it lets you continually track your progress and see how well you’re doing. Emails or text messages can also provide helpful education and encouragement to support you along the way. As you mark your successes and celebrate your milestones with awards and badges, you’ll stay motivated to keep going. Patients can view their sleep data from the previous night using the myAir dashboard. Intuitive icons and charts make the dashboard simple to understand and follow.

Is this machine Refurbished?
No. All our products are brand new, sealed in the box, with a warranty, and purchased directly from the manufacturers.

What is Card-to-Cloud (C2C)?
C2C, or Card-to-Cloud, refers to the ability of healthcare providers to access patient therapy and usage data via the device’s SD card. While all ResMed devices capture and safely store patient nightly usage data, Air10™ C2C devices cannot relay data directly to the cloud. However, there are steps that can be taken so the data is available for the patient and clinician. Clinicians can use AirView™ to log patient data using the Air10 C2C devices by manually downloading the data off the patient’s SD card, located on the side of the Air10 C2C device.

Will C2C devices come with an SD card?
Yes. All C2C devices come with a compatible SD card installed in the device.

Why is ResMed offering C2C devices?
To serve the constantly growing backlog of patients waiting to start therapy or to replace a device that is at the end of its design life, they're temporarily adding C2C PAP device to their fleet of connected sleep and respiratory care devices.

Adding C2C devices to ResMed's portfolio of offerings is a temporary decision specifically aimed at alleviating the unmet needs of hundreds of thousands of patients worldwide waiting ofr ResMed PAP therapy while CAM (Communications Access Module) supply remains constrained.

How can I identify that the device is a C2C device?
Air10 C2C devices are identifiable by the following:

  • Air10 C2C devices have unique model numbers
  • Air10 C2C devices will have unique labeling
  • When powered on, Air10 C2C devices will not have any cellular bars on the top-right corner of the home screen

Will I be able to us myAir app with AirSense 10 C2C devices?
No. Patients will not have visibility to their therapy and usage data within the myAir app. The myAir app will not capture the patient's sleep data from the Air10 C2C device.

How do patients see how they are performing on therapy with an Air10 C2C device?
Patients will be able to see their nightly data on the device's home screen each morning and view their therapy reports by accessing the Sleep Report menu on the home screen.

For patients to have access to comprehensive therapy details within the Sleep Report menu, ensure that Essentials Plus is selected on the device. Essentials Plus can be enabled within the Clinical Menu by selecting Settings, followed by Essentials, and finally by selecting Plus.

By enabling Essentials Plus, you can allow highly-engaged patients to access additional features, including changing mask type, EPR (if available), SmartStart and Run Warmup (if water tub is available).

Which accessories can I use with the Air10 C2C devices?
AirSense 10 C2C devices are compatible with all existing AirSense 10 accessories and components. Air10 device accessories and components will have no change to current model numbers.

How will clinicians see how patients are performing on therapy with an AirSense 10 C2C device?
Clinicians will be able to use AirView to log data from patients using Air10 C2C devices by manually downloading the data off the device’s SD card.

What is the difference in the three types of tubing that are available for use with the AirSense 10?
The ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet is compatible with standard CPAP tubing as well as ResMed’s ClimateLine tubing and SlimLine tubing. The ClimateLine tubing is a heated wire tube that takes feedback from AirSense’s climate control system to optimally regulate temperature and humidity. ResMed’s SlimLine tubing is 40% lighter and 20% thinner than the standard CPAP tube, so it’s great for travel and for anyone who wants less drag on the mask.

Can I take the AirSense 10 on a plane?
Yes, the AirSense 10 AutoSet is FAA approved. Put it in airplane mode during air travel. The machine comes with a travel bag and should not be counted against your carry-on luggage allotment. Also, do not use the humidifier on board a plane. You will need a power supply.

How does the AirSense 10 AutoSet differ from the AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her?
Both machines are Auto CPAP devices and contain the same feature set. The AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her uses a slightly different algorithm when adjusting pressures. The algorithm factors in physiological differences between men and women. Women, for example, may need less pressure to overcome the same degree of flow obstruction.
